We had been there with two families. Everthing was really good. Wunderfull new kitchen and bathrooms and very nice short walk to a splendid (in October!) lonely beach. Only with the electricity which only faciltites in total about 3kW we had to make sure not using e.g. the dishwasher and oven at the same time, as it caused black-outs. But once the lesson was learned and we knew where to re-actived the fuses we got very well along.

Abbiamo soggiornato in quattro per 2 settimane e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La casa è immersa in una pineta a 2 passi dal mare (tipica acqua cristallina della Sardegna). Molto comoda la veranda coperta e dotata di tavolo dove si può comodamente pranzare e cenare. Se sarà possibile ci torneremo il prossimo anno. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e disponibilissimi. Ideale per chi cerca tranquillità e vita da mare.

We booked the apartment at short notice and were able to check in easily on the same day. Cleaning was organized within a few hours. The host was very friendly and personable, and the communication was excellent. The apartment was super equipped, only screens were missing. There was a parking spot directly in front of the apartment. The area was quiet and there are great beaches in close proximity. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and can recommend the place. The villa is located in the hills outside Chia, with amazing views of the countryside. It is a spacious property with 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with outside spaces on multiple levels to enjoy or get out of the sun. The pool is a great size, with a shallow and deepend. There is a good size patio around the pool with sun loungers, chairs and tables to relax, sunbathe and eat outside.
The local village has a number of restaurants and pizzerias but in August they are busy so you have to book in advance, and the best way to do this is to go to there the day before as they don’t tend to answer the phone.
A 15 minute drive away in Chia are some of the best beaches in Europe with crystal clear water, golden sands, lots of places to eat and water sports activities and hire.
The management of the property is very professional, local guides were sent to us prior to our visit and communication was responsive and helpful.

This villa is amazing! We traveled as a group of 6 and we had plenty of space. The pool was the perfect size for swimming a few lanes and playing volleyball. The kitchen and dining area also perfect sizes.
The location was great for us; we had a hire car which I highly recommend you do also. The village is small but has all the essentials including a pizzeria (which did takeaway) and the closest beach; 10 min drive is absolutely stunning. It’s a smaller stretch so less people; had a cafe and toilet facilities. Their are plenty of larger beaches at a 20 min drive also! Honestly a beautiful villa and a beautiful part of the country.

The villa exceeded our expectations, the layout worked great for our stay with extended family and 3 children. The rooms were bigger than they look in pictures and the kitchen was fully equipped. We were within 30 minutes of everywhere we visited with parking right outside the villa. Francesca was great with communication even recommending somewhere to get cake for my sons birthday. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

Comfortable and well equipped property, well kept garden and swimming pool. The external pictures on the Airbnb website are a bit out of date in that there is now a good screen of plants on the garden perimeter and some wonderful climbing jasmines around the terrace pillars. The local village, Domus de Maria has an excellent baker, open every day, and a reasonably stocked small supermarket, both in Via S Croce. Niko’s pizzeria (Piazza V Emanuele) is very good value and we also enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Enthos (Via Maddona di Bonarta.) The beaches at Chia are amazing – our favourite was Su Portu, more sheltered than the others in its own bay. There are 2 beach umbrellas at the property which you can take with you.

Amazing home, looks just as good as in the pictures! Really clean and spacious with beautiful outside space. Easy access to some amazing beaches in Chia only 10-15 minutes away.
Francesca and her daughter were superb hosts, they went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and special as possible. We arranged with them a typical Sardinian meal which they prepared and brought to us and it really was delicious – highly recommended!
Our 18 month old daughter loved it too, we had all of the baby accessories we needed provided for us (high chair, cot etc) and everything there was very safe for her.

Die Bilder sind diesen Anwesen nicht gerecht, sehr viel Platz draußen mit natürlichen Schatten von Pinien, sehr privat gelegen, parken für 4 große Autos locker, riesige Terrasse, schöner, warmer, tiefer Pool; Grill mit Pizzaoffen, und schöne Schlafzimmer mit schönen Bäder und Drück in den Leitungen. Wehrend unseren unseren Aufenthalts hatten wir einmal Stromausfall als alle Stromfresser liefen, innerhalb von 15 min kam der Hausmeister und hat alles geregelt. Francesca hat uns außerdem sehr gut mit vielen Tips geholfen. Alles in einem war ne sehr schöne Zeit.
Können wir nur weiter empfehlen!!!

Summary: We loved it, despite some minor issues.
A very beautiful, private and remote place.
Going shopping is not easy therefore people should come prepared, but in my opinion the view, the accommodation and private-ness well compensate for the remote-ness.
For us the services were not perfect, there were a few issues (e.g. no shower gel, some issues with the fridge, initially no gas for the kitchen) but these were minor and were addressed.
Will also highlight that the air conditioning was amazing and more than welcome considering the heat.
All in all we all loved the place and were very lucky to enjoy this place and have fun!

Urlaub mit fantastischer Aussicht
Wir verbrachten 5 Tage in der Viletta Chillout und es hätten gerne auch 19 sein können. Top ausgestattetes Ferienhäuschen mit 2 Bädern und einer fantastischen Aussicht. Auch wenn die Betreuer vor Ort kein Englisch oder Deutsch sprechen, der Vermieter hat alles für uns geregelt. Gerne wieder.

Die Villa von Patricia ist wunderschön! Die Lage hoch oben auf dem Eden Rock bietet eine herrliche Sicht auf das Meer. Der Garten mit der bequemen und stilvoll eingerichteten Lounge lässt einen abends verweilen. Die Einrichtung ist auch sehr durchdacht, modern und stilvoll. Die Küche bietet viel Platz und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Schlafzimmer sind hell und freundlich eingerichtet und die Badezimmer verfügen über eine Dusche und WC. Wir hatten als vierköpfige Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern gut Platz und es hat alles gepasst. Wir würden diese Villa wieder buchen!

Es hat uns wahnsinnig gefallen. Das Haus und der Garten waren zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit.

Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Die 2 Wochen auf Sardinien haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben die Strände in Chia, Tuerredda und Porto Pino besucht. Allesamt waren wunderbar. Unser Lieblingsstrand war Monte Cogoni der zum Sa Colonia gehört. Dieser Abschnitt war nie überlaufen mit Menschen. Es gab immer ein freies Plätzchen ganz vorne am Meer. Ausserdem konnten wir dort auf den Felsen herumklettern und versch. versteckte Nischen entdecken. Der “Torre di Chia” war von dort aus ebenfalls gut zu erreichen. Unser Lieblingsrestaurant war klar das Mirage. Nebst dem super Essen und der tollen Atmosphäre hatten auch unsere Kids viel Freude am dazugehörigen Spiel-/Kletterparadies. Nebst den Stränden haben wir auch zwei Städteausflüge nach Pula und Cagliari gemacht. Wir waren sehr beeindruckt. Mir persönlich hat vor allem das Städtchen Pula sehr gut gefallen. Bunte Häuser, lebendige Gassen, tolle Restaurants. Was will man mehr? 🙂 Die Ausgrabungsstätte Nora haben wir auch kurz besucht. War eher für uns Erwachsene interessant. 😉
Das Villetta Chillout ist ein wunderbares Zuhause gewesen für uns. Es hat an Nichts gefehlt und auch die Kinder hatten sich wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht alleine ist schon fast das Geld wert. 😉 An dieser Stelle nochmals herzlichen Dank auch an Francesca und Paolo sowie dessen Sohn der das Haus abgenommen hat am letzten Tag.

We enjoyed our stay in Villa Zen very much! The villa was very complete and nicely decorated. Everything was working properly. The reception by Francesca was very nice and she gave a clear explanation of everything. And also the information leaflets in the villa were very complete and clear. What we missed a little bit was the view from the terrace, because of the oleanders were grown so high. But that was not a big issue… All in all we are very satisfied about our stay in Villa Zen and hope to come back to Sardinia in the future. You as well thanks for your quick follow-up when we could not find the villa and later with the wifi update.

La villa est bien conçue et fonctionnelle avec ses trois chambres et ses trois salles de bains vraiment très bien. La terrasse pour manger et le salon exterieur très bien avec une vue sur les montagnes et le village. Que dire de la piscine, elle est tout simplement SUPERBE dans un cadre de verdure et de fleurs magnifiques. Le quartier est calme et très fleuries. Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben uns sofort wie zu hause gefühlt. Auch der Pool hat besonders den Kindern sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist wirklich schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Gelände ist so großzügig, dass jeder seinen persönlichen Rückzugsort hatte. Die Lage ist toll und der Pool super.

In der Vietta hatten wir alles was wir brauchten, die Aussicht aufs Meer war sehr bezaubernd und auch die Lounge und Hängematte war sehr hübsch (obwohl wir es leider wetterbedingt nicht auskosten konnten). The Villetta Chillout was absolutely perfect place for a great vacation in the southern Sardinia! The view was fantastic and everything was a real chill. The view of the sea is super nice and the best thing is that in this house you have basically everything you need for a week’s vacation. And everything works, which is often not the case when you rent apartments or houses in Italy!! If we try to find something negative, I would mention that the wifi is quite slow. Especially with kids who want to watch movies and play games sometimes, the wifi doesn’t really allow that. But, all in all, the house, the view and the location were all fantastic! Thank you!

Una vacanza da ricordare
Abbiamo trascorso 14 bellissimi giorni ad inizio Luglio 2011 nella villa LE GINESTRE nel grazioso paese di Domus De Maria. La casa è nuovissima e veramente molto spaziosa sia all’interno che all’esterno. In qualità di architetto posso dire che è veramente arredata con luci e mobili di ottimo design moderno ed è stato un piacere abitarla. La posizione tra le colline è molto rilassante ed il panorama che si gode dal porticato è fantastico, inoltre ho apprezzato la privacy e soprattutto il grande silenzio. In pochi minuti si può arrivare alle numerose spiagge e calette di Chia e devo ammettere che, per un amante della Sardegna come me, è la località nell’isola che ho preferito in assoluto. Quando siamo arrivati il grande giardino era appena finito ma ho apprezzato la ricerca nel ricreare un ambiente di verde mediterraneo naturale. Devo anche ringraziare Paolo e Francesca (i custodi) che nei momenti di necessità sono sempre stati molto disponibili. Da non perdere inoltre la cucina del piccolo ristorante DA ANGELO a Domus DE Maria dove si può gustare il migliore pesce della zona con prezzi ragionevoli.

Schönes, grosses und modernes Ferienhaus
Wir haben in diesem Ferienhaus zwei wunderschöne Wochen verbracht. Die Villetta ist neu, angenehm geräumig und modern eingerichtet sowie mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Sie liegt in einer ruhigen, neu erbauten Feriensiedlung. Die Stärnde der Costa del Sud und die Ferienorte Pula und Chia sind schnell mit dem auto zu erreichen. Wir können diese Villetta sehr empfehlen, obwohl wir uns in manchen heissen Sommernchten eine Klimaanlage gewnscht hätten.

C’ chi si distingue !
Siamo appena rientrati da Domus de Maria dove abbiamo soggiornato in Villeta Ginestra dal 4 al 29 agosto (2 famiglie: 4 adulti e 3 bambini) Lentischi2 (quartiere in cui si trova l’abitazione) una zona collinare, tranquilla e molto verde rispetto al resto della Sardegna in questo periodo; la sera si possono ammirare meravigliose volte stellate e gustare il silenzio quasi totale che regna sovrano. Pieni di dubbi e timori per avere affittato casa on-line per la prima volta, Villatta Ginestra , se possibile, pi bella, sobriamente “chillout” ed accogliente di quanto gi non appaia dal sito!!! Ottima per la sistemazione di 2 famiglie con bambini come noi. Le bellissime spiaggie di Chia (sebbene non pi selvaggie e poco frequentate come un tempo) sono a 4/5 chilometri dalla residenza e facilmente ragiungibili in pochi minuti in auto. Da non perdere le spiagge della base militare di Capo Teulada, aperte d’estate e raggiungibili in auto o barca; fantasmagorica Cala Zafferano, raggiungibile – per fortuna!!! – solo via mare. Patricia Sarais una persona squisita, efficente, precisa, trasparente e cordiale: un perfetto ed ammirevole connubio di precisione Svizzera e cuore Sardo. Ottimo inoltre anche il rapporto qualit/prezzo, cosa non trascurabile in generale e soprattutto di questi tempi. Un ottimo giudizio dunque sia per la SimplyChillout che per Villetta Ginestra: per fortuna c’ chi sa fare qualit a prezzi interessanti e si distingue in (positivo) in questo settore in cui spesso le promesse non corrispondono alla realtà.

Villetta Ginestra: sehr gut, zum Wohlfühlen, viel Platz
Die Villetta liegt in einer neuen Siedlung. Alle Häuser sind sehr schön angelegt und sehr gut ausgerichtet, so dass man viel Privatssphäre hat. Auch die Grundstücke sind grosszügig und bieten viel Platz. Die Lage direkt in der Nähe von Domus de Maria ist gut, da von hier aus die tollen Strände innerhalb von zehn Minuten zu erreichen sind. Wer Sardinien kennt oder kennenlernen möchte, der muss wissen, dass man einen Wagen benötigt. So lassen sich die schönen Strände und die Landschaft erkunden. Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz und könnte auch ohne Probleme von 6 Erwachsenen genutzt werden. Die Einrichtung ist qualitativ gut und sehr ordentlich. Über eine grozügige Zufahrt gelangt man zum Haus und kann dieses über eine grosse Terasse betreten. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine grosse Küche, Wohnzimmer (benötigt man im Sommer auf Sardinien nicht, da man sich draussen aufhält) sowie ein Schlafzummer mit Bad en suite. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich zwei weitere Schlafzimmer und ein grosses Bad. Im Untergeschoss ist die Waschmaschine.Auch im Herbst und Frühling kann man sicherlich die Sonne geniessen, da Sitzmöglichkeiten ums ganze Haus herum vorhanden sind. Auch die aussendusche kann man schön nutzen ohne gesehen zu werden. Alles in allem ein tolles Haus zu Wohlfühlen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: von Vorteil wären auch Fliegengitter oder Netze. Domus de Maria ist ein kleiner Ort, in dem man alles besorgen kann. Für den morgendlichen Bedarf gibt es einen fantastischen Bäcker. War dieses Jahr bereits zum 8 mal auf Sardinien. Dieses Villetta war bisher das schönste Haus, welches wir hatten. Auch hat mir der Süden besser gefallen als der Nordosten und Osten. Würde das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen. Auch die Betreuung vor Ort durch den Verwalter war sehr gut.

In una sistemazione come Villetta Ginestra è difficile trovare dei punti a sfavore, vista la comodità della casa, il patio favoloso, la tranquillità del luogo e la vicinanza delle spiagge (molte e tutte belle), che fanno la vacanza davvero speciale. Prezioso il grill esterno. Ottime le indicazioni per arrivare e le informazioni sul luogo.

Le Wifi proposé est un Wifi d’appoint très lent mais il est surement très difficile d’avoir mieux dans cette région et surtout dans ce village. (ne pas connecter plusieurs appareils). Pour le reste, c’est parfait.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Lory, I couldn’t fault it. Very peaceful location and amazingly appointed house! I would definitely recommend it to others. The house was spotless when we arrived and the check-in and out process was handled immaculately by Francesca. Also, we had a problem one day when the wind blew down the branch of a tree and it was handled very quickly and efficiently by the friendly handyman. Stunning views, beautiful villa
The villa is in a perfect spot and the garden and terrace feel very private, though there are other villas nearby. The villa is stylishly furnished and has everything you need. To enjoy the area I would definitely recommend a car as there are not many places that you would be able to walk to. However everything is just a short drive away. We used the gas BBQ a lot and that worked really well.

As was to be expected, we both would love to stay lots longer in your beautiful place – thank you for letting us stay – we enjoyed it enormously !! It’s been some time since our routine has been sleep, slow wake-up, espresso, enjoy the view of the blue & turquoise see, brunch (at 11 … or 2 …), read, rest in the shade, beach, swim, read, rest in shade, shower, eat and sleep again .. 🙂 Just what we needed. We hope to come back again to do more of this – and maybe stay longer and see a bit more 🙂

Chillout by name – Chillout by nature! Everything was perfect. The villa had everything we needed and more. The weather was great and we love the island. We are very jealous that you have such a beautiful place. If you need a new gardener and caretaker – just let us know!

Unlike staying in a hotel, renting a villa like yours gives you an immediate sense of intimacy. Before we arrived, thanks to the photographs, we knew we would love the house … and we did. We had a wonderful time in Villetta Chillout and appreciate how complete the inventory of it fitted every need we had. Only if one needs to remove a frog from one of the bedrooms, you have to be a bit ‘creative’. But the kids loved that one too! We are sad to leave today but we sure like to return as friends of the house .. and Sardinia.

We would like to thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful place. Entering the garden in the morning and having this view of the sea and the pine trees … You gave us a feeling of home, but even more relaxing. The choice of furniture and any equipment, as if you would stay here most of the year on your own. Last but not least, your kind organisation of nearly everything, in and outside Domus de Maria and Pula, and the wonderful beach of South Sardinia. Thank you!
